who give back

At Brainforest, we are deeply committed to giving back to the community that sustains us.

Our not-for-profit corporation, BFriend, provides support (grants, materials and time) to underserved families and children all over the globe in the areas of education, healthcare, housing and the arts.

Our art supply recycling program, Creative Pitch, collects unused and unwanted art materials from the Chicago area creative community and makes those materials available, free of charge, to art educators working with our poorest children.

Our group has been visiting the Greater Chicago Food Depository for years, packing and sorting donated food through their team volunteer program on Wednesday evenings.

And our body of work for Gilda’s Club Chicago speaks for itself.

The people of Brainforest are also encouraged to pursue their individual philanthropic interests, and are provided with the time and resources necessary to make it happen.
